CAN RON PAUL STILL WIN? ATTENTION: Please check back often. This page changes as I get more information The answer to this question is a resounding YES and we DO have a plan to do this. The first thing that you must do is FORGET about our fraudulent voting system, this plan has NOTHING to do with the ballot box. Understand that Dr. Paul KNEW that he would be defrauded by the vote stealing machines. So now, that being said, in an electoral system that is totally rigged, what do we do? Some have suggested that Dr. Paul accept the nomination of either the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party. Others have suggested Ron Paul run as an independent. The hard core revolutionaries that are in this to WIN know that these are NOT options. We are realists and know that a third party or independent candidate has NO chance of winning. In order for us to win this election, the FIRST thing you have to do is give up these FUTILE desires. The only way for Dr. Paul to have a chance in November is to become the nominee in one of the two major parties. To the layman, this now seems virtually impossible. However, to those of us that know the DELEGATE system, we know that it is not only POSSIBLE but is an inevitability if we are able to WAKE UP Ron Paul's supporters and get just 10% of them to involved themselves in this process. We have a plan to UNBOUND the delegates in enough states to free up those delegates to vote for Dr. Paul at the convention. Now I know some folks are against "saving" the Republican Party so let me address that. I have nothing against 3rd parties. However they have been on the outside throwing rocks while the march to fascism and tyranny continues unabated. Principle over party is exactly why we should use the Republican Party to accomplish our goals. The party name doesn’t matter, only it's resources and infrastructure that can help us reach our goals of freedom, peace and prosperity, that's what matters! If all you're going to do for Dr. Paul is vote and go to the march, then you might as well stay home. Dr. Paul's votes are not counted and the march will NOT be televised. Dr. Paul has stated that he is going all the way to the Republican Convention in St. Paul (interesting the city bears Dr. Paul's name for all you superstitious people out there). The reason is because he knows what his grassroots support has been working towards. Do YOU want to be a part of it? There is only ONE way for Dr. Paul to win the nomination. That way is for the votes to actually be counted. The delegates to every state convention are actually counted one by one. In some cases they stand up and are counted. In other cases the votes are on paper ballots and are hand counted in full public view. This is the ONLY part of the current political process that CAN NOT BE DEFRAUDED! So, lets lay it out REALLY simple. How can YOU become a delegate? FIRST thing you need to do right NOW is to call your local county GOP, pay up your dues ($25/yr for me), and tell them that you want to become a delegate. Tell them that the reason you want to is because you don't want to see either Hillary or Obama as your president. The last thing you want to do is mention Dr. Paul. If you have to LIE, tell them you support McCain, then if you make it to state just say you changed your mind! Be cordial, and ask also if there is any way you can help or volunteer. My last meetup group was VERY informative. It was explained to me that the GOP is just a SHELL of itself. The APATHY of the voting process in many states has taken it's toll on the Republican Party. What this means is that voter apathy, while once thought of as our biggest obstacle, is now our ACE IN THE HOLE my fellow revolutionaries! We can TAKE OVER the Republican Party, quite easily, and UN-BIND the delegates in our respective states (this is one of the policies that delegates vote on) and nominate Dr. Paul at the Republican National Convention! So those of you that are in a meetup group and HAVEN'T heard about this. Please let them know. If you aren't in a meetup group then JOIN ONE NOW! For example, in my local county GOP there are only 8 members. In my local meetup group we have 24 steadfast attendees every week! DO THE MATH. This is the case in MANY different states and counties. So stop thinking about what doesn't work and how corrupt the voting system is. Let's take the opportunity to SIEZE this ONE loophole in the totally RIGGED political process. Here's some great supplemental information: The Revolution In Colorado Q. Is it true that even bound delegates can vote for who they want? A. Yes it is true. They are not bound by party rules not law only. This is known as a "delegate revolt." They would then be wide open to a civil lawsuit from the republican party, some feel that the future of this country and their children's future is worth the risk of voting for someone other than who they are bound to vote for, and some don't have much to lose! Q. Is this worth doing in states where delegates are already picked? A. In many states there is the misconception that since the primary has already been held the delegates have been already picked. Please do not confuse the primary elections with the process of picking delegates. Delegates are chosen weeks or months after the candidates have won or lost their primary states. ALSO, even if the delegates HAVE already been picked, we need to FLOOD the GOP with as many Ron Paul supporters as we can possibly muster to have as much influence in one of the two major parties (the Republican Party) as we can, so DO IT TODAY! Q. What about Super Delegates? A. Super delegates are in the Democratic Party. We are going after the Republican nomination. We do not have super delegates in the Republican party. For those that still want to know, super delegates are congress people and other leaders of the Democratic Party. They are not chosen they are automatically delegates because of their positions. (Which I think is kind of lame but that's just my opinion.) Q. Even if we win the nomination, how do we keep from getting our votes stolen in the general election? A. With the full force of the Republican Party at our disposal, we would be able to address on a national scale the issue of voter fraud. The fact is, it is the PERCEPTION of fraud that defrauds the american people even more than the actual fraud. If voters think their vote MAY not be counted that is enough to warrant a change in the system. No proof is required. There is plenty of evidence out there that proves at least the perception of fraud. With the infrastructure of the Republican Party we will finally be able to get rid of electronic voting machines once and for all! Q. I live in West Virginia, I was a delegate in the state caucus on super tuesday. What is the next step for me? We have a primary in may. How do I go to St. Paul as a national delegate? A. You will go to your state convention and be voted on to go to the national convention. Bring as many people as you can with you to your state convention to vote for you. Q. I looked into signing up as a Ron Paul delegate in California from the ronpaul2008.com website. It seems that I can't become a delegate at this time. Is there anything I can do? A. The deadline to be a delegate MAY have passed, however call your country chairman and ask if you can register to be an alternate delegate. Usually every county is always looking to fill all the slots but if you don't call you will never know. Q. There was this guy on RBN that was promoting RP's book. He came on Mike Piper's show at 8 pm on Mar. 11th. He said McCain already had all the Delegates and had RP shut out of the Convention. I wanted to be a delegate with my wife and seven others here in my state of Illinois. Please let me know what I should do? A. McCain can't get Ron paul shut out of the convention in any way shape or form. McCain doesn't have the delegates he needs to secure the nomination either. Are you part of a meetup group? SUGGESTED PLATFORM AMENDMENTS THE CONSTITUTION We recognize the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects as guaranteed in the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; recognize the right of the people to be secure from any search or seizure that violates the 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination; and oppose legislation that violates these two Amendments including, but not limited to, any infringements that may be contained in the Patriot Act, the Real ID Act, NAIS Act, and the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. Furthermore, we propose that these acts be repealed immediately. We support a federal system of taxation that adheres to the original wording in Article 1, Section 9 of the United States Constitution. We resolve to support the abolishment of the IRS and the repeal of the 16th Amendment to the United States Constitution, and the elimination of the personal income tax, inheritance tax, gift tax, and capital gains tax. ELECTIONS We oppose the use of computerized voting machines as they eliminate election transparency and are vulnerable to fraud. We support paper ballots and a procedure for the safe, secure storage of all ballots to eliminate the occurrence of questionable elections. We oppose primary elections as it is an unfair and undue burden to place a party’s nomination process at the tax burden of the population of an entire state. We support and praise the use of the caucus as it promotes discussion, neighborly interaction, and healthy party growth, as opposed to apathetic party growth. NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY We oppose all organizations that undermine our national sovereignty, including but not limited to the WTO, ICC, and the United Nations. We demand the withdrawal from these organizations as speedily as possible. We find the manner of meeting in secret by the Council on Foreign Relations suspicious, and the intentions of the members thereof to be questionable. As such, we support the United States of America and any politician thereof in their distancing from the organization, as well as any aggressive probing and criticism of the organization. We find the North American Union to be the complete disintegration of our nation’s sovereignty and emphatically oppose it. ECONOMY We strongly oppose a central bank, as it was one of the prime reasons of the American Revolution. We find that a central bank brings nothing but perpetually increasing debt, and puts an enormous amount of the nation’s economy in the control of a few privileged persons. We support economic stability, and as such, a return to the gold standard, as time has proven it to be the most stable of popular metals. We acknowledge the wisdom of our founding fathers in stating this point clearly in the U.S. Constitution and find baseless currencies as such to be unconstitutional. LEGISLATION We disagree with the Judicial Branch bearing power over the Legislative branch as it promotes judicial activism and vests an excess of power to a handful of judges. We oppose the War on Drugs, a program whose initial glory has been triumphed only by its monumental failure. We recognize the pattern of consequences following those of the Prohibition of Alcohol. Both have resulted in the swelling of correctional facilities, an increase in black market sales, an increase in corruption, and a massive waste of money. We recognize that it is our responsibility as parents to protect our children. EDUCATION We oppose the federal Department of Education as it takes control away from local legislation and thereby from the parents. We do not believe that the federal government cares more about our children’s education than we, their parents. Be it resolved that the federal Department of Education be abolished. We oppose the “No Child Left Behind” Act, as it places ineffective federal burdens on our local government and strains our local budget with unfunded mandates.
