When you are canvasing and handing out information about Ron Paul, make SURE to put your CONTACT INFORMATION on slim jims, flyers, etc. This way they can contact you if they need help telling their friends and family about Ron Paul! - LB
Have you heard of Ron Paul? No? Well he's running for president, and whether you like him or not you should have the right to decide for yourself shouldn't you? Well the media doesn't believe you have that right, so it's up to us to tell everyone we know about Ron Paul!
GUN SHOPS
If you can show the owner a video about Ron Paul on gun rights, that would be great, otherwise give the owner a slim jim on gun rights. If you can convert the gun shop owner just think how many extra supporters we could get from that!

NOTE: I ran into a snag with my local paper. They wanted me to put "This ad was approved by John Smith," in the ad. If that happens and you do NOT want to place your personal name in the ad, feel free to use ronpaulchat.net, however, people seeing many other people's names in print on a regular basis COULD be a very good thing for the cause!
KIDS FUND RAISERS
Ron Paul candy bar drive like the schools do to raise money. Let the future generations help. As they sell candy bars they learn about campaign finance and the value of a dollar as they raise money for Ron Paul. Every home and buisness who gets a candy bar gets a slim jim with it. Also kids learn the message of freedom and help insure that it takes root in the future. - Neon

Each time YOU go to the store they take flyers, dvds, or whatever you have with you and hand them out before you go in. Mom and Pop shops would probably look more kindly on this, especially if they support Ron Paul. - Disa |

You know the business reply envelopes that you're so sick of getting in the mail? Stamp them with your Ron Paul Stamp and then put a slim jim in the envelope and mail them! VIRAL NEWSPAPER AD/PHONE SCRIPT
[To supporters who call about the ad] My name is Joe/Jane and I'm a grassroots supporter of Ron Paul. I am involved in a VIRAL newspaper ad campaign and would like to get you involved in this. Would you like to help us out?
Please place an ad yourself in the local paper, I can give you a few examples or you can go to http://ronpaulchat.net/ads and submit your own great idea for an ad.
This way we get two or more ads running in the paper next week. AND we also find out which ads get the BEST response. Eventually every local paper is overrun by RON PAUL ADS!
[You can set up an account with your local newspaper and ask if people can call in and deposit money into it VIA credit card, or you can drive around (the callers will be local) and pick up the money, and drop off a YARD SIGN while you're there!]
PHONE BOOTHS
Place a Ron Paul bumper sticker on a phone booth, many people every day use the payphone and will get the message. Not to mention they are a pain in the butt to remove!
PARTIES
We could do 'Paul Parties' large meetup groups could probably pull this off pretty well. Run an ad, post flyers on your party. Rent a space (if you arent lucky enough to have it... would vets clubs be interested in doing this just for the heck of it? vets for paul?). Host a party informing people on Ron Paul. *Food maybe pot luck style, pancake breakfast... each plate is $X, again check local laws, Fun, Maybe a quick video with discussion to follow? - Disa
